Let me introduce myself…

My name is Kelly Camacho, and I am a cis woman (she/her/hers), from Buffalo, NY. I graduated from City Honors High School with both a Regents with Honors and an International Baccalaureate (IB) certificate. I went on to graduate from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies (Interdisciplinary). I currently work as a Union Organizer for the Teacher’s Union.

I aspire to create a community for people historically left out of the environmental movement (Black, Indigenous, People of Color, low-income, LGBTQ+, women, etc.) to feel safe and comfortable pursuing outdoor education and experiences. Follow the developing Environmental Equality Center.
